Job summary

Valley Children’s Healthcare in the United States is seeking an IR Technologist to support interventional and diagnostic procedures. The role involves operating radiologic equipment, setting exposure parameters, and ordering supplies for the IR service under the guidance of the Interventional Radiologist and Imaging Leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a formal radiologic technology program completion, state licensure, BLS certification, and pediatric radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Radiologic Technology program graduate.
• 2-year radiology degree required.
• 4-year radiology degree preferred.
• BLS within 30 days; CRT license; RT-R ARRT; RHF fluoroscopy license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional and diagnostic procedures.
• Order and maintain supplies for the IR service.
• Operate radiologic equipment and set exposure parameters.
• Follow state and federal radiation safety regulations and ALARA.
• Maintain safety in the Environment of Care.
