Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN required for hires after Sep 1, 2013 and must be completed within 5 years if hired after that date.
• Current RN license in MO/KS/Multi-state; required upon hire.
• Life Support Certifications required upon hire.
• Specialty certification relevant to unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to develop and implement safe, high-quality care plans for high-acuity patients and families.
• Meets the educational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs.
• Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered.
• Utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality
