Children's Mercy is seeking an Intermediate Care Nurse for CMK Inpatient (FT Nights) at the Kansas Campus. The role supports advanced illness management, family-centered care, and coordination of care for high acuity patients onsite on the 3rd floor.

You will join a team committed to compassionate service and evidence-based practice in a welcoming, inclusive environment. The position requires ADN with BSN preferred for newer hires; MO/KS RN licenses with compact eligibility; and required life

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred for nurses hired after Sep 1, 2013.
• State RN license: MO or KS; multi-state license acceptable where allowed by state.
• RN licensure KS/MO with compact status required upon hire; life support certifications required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to develop and implement a safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age-appropriate plan of care for the high acuity patient and family that promotes optimal patient outcomes.
• Meets the educational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs.
• Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family-centered
• Utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve nursing care quality

Associate's Degree ADN
