On-site at our Kansas City location, you will join a compassionate team dedicated to pediatric health and safety. The position requires an ADN (BSN preferred), MO/Kansas RN licensure, and life-support certifications.

Qualifications

• ADN required for direct care nursing.
• BSN preferred for hires after Sept 1, 2013; degree must be completed within 5 years if lacking at hire.
• MO/Kansas RN licensure required upon hire; multi-state license preferred.
• RN license for KS/MO; compact licenses acceptable.
• Life Support certifications required upon hire; other certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements an age-appropriate care plan.
• Meets educational needs of patient and family.
• Promotes safe, family-centered care.
• Delegates nursing tasks based on staff qualifications and patient needs.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and education programs.

Education

Associate's Degree ADN

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
