Dayton Children's in Dayton, OH, is seeking a Mental Health Therapist for the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness. This full-time position focuses on comprehensive psychosocial assessments and crisis intervention on the inpatient unit, delivering brief individual and family therapies with safety planning.

You will collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to implement personalized treatment plans and participate in group/milieu activities.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work required.
• Licensure in Ohio as LMFT/LPC/LSW or related license required or eligible.
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with mental health or substance use disorders desired.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and crisis intervention on the inpatient mental health unit.
• Deliver brief therapeutic interventions in individual and family formats, including safety planning.
• Participate in mandated reporting as required.
• Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute personalized treatment plans.
• Engage in group and milieu activities with patients as directed by unit needs.
• Coordinate with community agencies to ensure comprehensive care and smooth transitions.
