Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital's Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness seeks a Mental Health Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and group therapy within the Mental Crisis Services unit or day treatment program.

You will develop and implement personalized treatment plans, participate in milieu activities, coordinate with families and community agencies, and support safety planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work required.
• Licensure: LMFT/LPC/LSW in Ohio (as applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments and crisis intervention.
• Deliver group therapy and brief individual/family interventions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in safety planning and mandated reporting as needed.
