Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging at Riverton location. You will work with radiologists and clinicians to deliver high-quality images while maintaining safety and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include adherence to protocols, maintaining competency, and assisting in education of staff and students. The role requires strong patient care, accuracy, and efficient workflow in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required; state licensure if applicable.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• May be required to complete MA competency checklist and function as MA in clinic/InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical/technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Performs exams per department protocol; reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time limits; assists students and other RTs in protocols and positioning.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort; addresses concerns.
• Practices infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures; reports adverse reactions.
• Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment issues.
