Job summary

Intermountain Health in Riverton, Utah seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinicians in a pediatric InstaCare setting, maintaining accuracy and compassionate care.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure where applicable, and BLS. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available; schedule is Mon–Fri 9:00a–5:30p, with a focus on efficient, patient-centered imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• State radiologic technologist license required where applicable.
• BLS (Healthcare Providers) certification required.
• May need to complete MA Competency Checklist and function as a Medical Assistant in clinic/InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Verify patient identification, orders, and prepare patient for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol; review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies in timely fashion; assist and educate students and staff in protocols.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and report equipment failures.
