Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable).
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and function as MA in clinic or InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency.
• Verifies patient identity and orders, prepares patient for exam.
• Performs exams per protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time frames; assists and instructs students.
