Job summary

Intermountain Health in Riverton, Utah, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams with state-of-the-art equipment. You will work with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to deliver high-quality images and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure if applicable, BLS, and the ability to educate patients while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for healthcare providers.
• May be required to complete the MA Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in clinic or InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time limits and assist students/other radiology staff.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follow protocols for coding, charging, consents, QC, and report equipment failures.
