Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a compassionate RN for the Pediatrics ICU. The unit is a 28-bed floor with flex capacity up to 46, practicing family-centered care for neonates to 21-year-olds.

Expect growth pathways, chemo certification after two years, and a dynamic, collaborative team environment. The role is full-time on-site in Columbia, MO, with weekend-day shifts (7A-7:30P), and a rotating holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN.
• One year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and needs, set goals and nursing actions.
• Assess and reassess pain using 0-10, FACES, or FLACC scales.
• Educate patients and families about medications and care plans.
• Maintain nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high patient satisfaction.
