Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a compassionate RN for the Neonatal ICU (NICU) on the Children’s Hospital campus in Columbia, MO. The role supports critically ill and premature newborns in a 64-bed NICU with family-centered care and advanced neonatal technology.

Shifts are 7P-7:30A, full-time, on-site, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. New hires receive comprehensive development, certifications (RNC-NIC) and leadership growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN license in Missouri or multi-state compact.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Experience in high-acuity NICU settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and nursing needs; set goals and plan care.
• Administer medications and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary NICU team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain nursing standards and unit policies; participate in meetings and quality initiatives.
