Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric ICU on the Banner Children’s Hospital at Desert campus in Mesa, AZ.

The NIGHT shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with an 18% night differential and a flat $3/hour weekend differential. This role involves caring for neonates to older pediatric patients with complex congenital heart, respiratory, and developmental needs in a high-acuity PICU/CVICU setting.

Qualifikationen

• This position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Current RN license in state of practice and BLS Certification required.
• One year of acute care experience preferred, pediatric setting a plus.
• Arizona nursing licensure or compact license required for consideration.

Aufgaben

• Assess physical, psychological, and social needs and plan care accordingly.
• Develop and revise the patient care plan with the health team and family input.
• Implement care per physician orders and supervise involved staff.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust teaching and care plans as needed.
• Document care and communicate status clearly to the care team.
