Job summary

Banner Staffing Services-AZ in Mesa, Arizona is seeking Registered Nurses with PICU experience for Night shifts at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. Registry/Per Diem roles offer flexible schedules and a pathway to internal opportunities within Banner Health.

As a pediatric ICU nurse, you will assess and care for critically ill children, document care, and collaborate with the care team. Per diem status has no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in pediatric ICU settings is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care for pediatric patients per policy.
• Formulate and revise care plans with the multidisciplinary team and families.
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision as needed.
• Document care accurately in patient records and communicate status to care team.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in clinical education activities.
