Rhode Island Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Manager. The role emphasizes leadership, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal discharge planning and outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating care quality, participating in quality improvement, and mentoring new graduates. A Rhode Island RN license and life-span patient care experience are required.

Qualificações

• Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.
• Must have current RI RN licensure.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care.
• Leads by delegating, supervising and participating in safe nursing care activities by ancillary staff.
• Evaluates effectiveness of patient care and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborates with healthcare team, patient, family and community services regarding discharge planning.
• Provides teaching based on patient and family needs.
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement and research activities.
• Uses resources to provide quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Meets credentialing standards and mandatory safety education.
