Job summary

Ascension's Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks a seasoned Nursing Leader for the Pediatric ICU. You will guide the PICU nursing team, shape departmental goals, and ensure high-quality patient care with ECMO oversight.

You'll build talent, drive operational excellence, collaborate with physicians and executive leadership, and manage budgets to sustain top-tier service and growth. A BSN is required; MSN preferred, with 5+ years in nursing and leadership.

• Active RN license in Texas required.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

• 5 years of experience required.
• 10 years of experience preferred.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
• 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
