Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association of Texas (VNA) is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team in providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes in Dallas County. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering opportunities to coordinate care with families, the interdisciplinary team, and referring agencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
• Current Texas RN License and valid Texas Driver’s License.
• CPR, TB test, Hepatitis vaccination/declination required.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care for pediatric patients in their homes.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring agency.
• Coordinate and oversee care with clinicians; ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans.
• Provide clinical direction to Hospice Aides and LVNs and assist in training new staff.
