Visiting Nurse Association of Texas (VNA) seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our hospice team, delivering in-home nursing care and coordinating with families and the interdisciplinary team in Kaufman County.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• Current Texas State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Proof of current CPR.
• One year of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Hepatitis consent/declination may be required.
• TB test proof.

Responsabilités

• Assess hospice patients and identify physical, psycho-social, and environmental needs.
• Develop and document the plan of care for quality and continuity of care.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team and family to ensure care is delivered.
• Provide guidance to Hospice Aide/LPN for service consistency.
• Document and ensure continuity of high-quality patient care.
