Job summary

Small Hands, Big Hearts, a Merakey Company, seeks a Pediatric Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide pediatric therapy in Mansfield and South Arlington, TX. This position offers home-based care under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, with compensation of $12.50 per unit and up to four units per hour ($50.00).

• Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current Texas Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• Virtual Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer the therapy treatment plan.
• Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
• Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
• Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
• Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.
• Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
