Job summary

MedCare Pediatric seeks a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, daycares, and schools, helping them achieve optimal function.

We offer flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN) and a wage of $35.00–$40.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative, support-driven team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Texas PTA license or eligible to obtain by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with physician-approved plans of care.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, range of motion, endurance, gait, and functional independence.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, positioning, mobility techniques, and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
