Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Pediatric Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide coordinated physical therapy to pediatric patients in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include designing and administering therapy plans and ensuring quality care in Garland, Plano, and North Dallas areas.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas State License as a PTA, a Texas driver's license, and have Virtual Therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• Virtual Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer the therapy treatment plan for pediatric patients in home settings.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care to prevent disease transmission.
• Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence.
• Use effective interpersonal relations and communication to coordinate care with the team.
• Meet mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency.
