Job summary

MedCare Pediatric seeks a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver one-on-one PT services in children’s homes, daycares, and schools across Texas. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on helping children achieve mobility and independence.

You will work under a licensed PT, with flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN), competitive hourly pay, and opportunities for mentorship and growth within a supportive, collaborative team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Texas PTA license or eligibility by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on exercises and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with the supervising PT.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
