Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver one-on-one therapy in homes, daycare, and school settings. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling and a collaborative team focused on children’s mobility and independence.

The position requires PTA program graduation, active Texas license (or eligibility), and pediatric experience; bilingual with Spanish is a plus. Offers full-time, part-time, or PRN options and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Texas PTA license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred and bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, ROM, endurance, gait, and functional independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, positioning, mobility techniques, and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising PT.
