Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Florida is seeking an RN in Hematology/Oncology for nights. You will plan, implement and evaluate care, administer chemotherapy, monitor central lines, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered, evidence-based care.

Requires active Florida RN license, BLS, PALS, pediatric chemo certification within 1 year, BSN or enrollment in BSN program. EMR proficiency and strong communication are essential for safe, compassionate practice.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or currently enrolled in BSN program.
• A minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology is preferred.
• Proficiency in computers and EMR is preferred.
• National certification CPON/CPHON/BMTCN preferably within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and document the care plan in collaboration with disciplines to ensure safe and efficient care.
• Administer chemotherapy and patient medications, following six rights of medication administration.
• Provide patient/family education and participate in daily care planning rounds with a multidisciplinary team.
