Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse (Hem/Onc) full-time to join the Nemours Children's Hospital team. Shift: 36 hours per week, nights 7P-7A.

The RN will provide direct patient care to pediatric oncology/hematology patients, perform assessments, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Florida RN license required; ASN; experience preferred in pediatrics and APHON chemotherapy.

Qualifications

• ASN required.
• Active Florida or multi-state RN license required.
• National certification in area of clinical specialty preferred.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience; pediatrics preferred; APHON chemo knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care; provide health teaching and guidance.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
• Supervise and teach other personnel in the theory and performance of nursing acts.
• Implement the patient care delivery model for the patient and family.
