Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a registered nurse to perform nursing processes across the continuum and provide direct patient care in a safe, patient-family-centered environment.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring culturally sensitive care, accurate documentation, and ongoing patient education. A BSN is preferred, and licensure in Georgia or multi-state is required, with BLS/PALS/PEARS as applicable.

Qualifications

• 12 months RN experience required.
• Able to function as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrates effective patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing process to deliver age-appropriate patient care.
• Integrates cultural and language needs into care plans.
• Uses clinical decision tools to prioritize and adjust plans.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation and education for patients/families.
• Oversees care by unlicensed staff when applicable.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient flow.
