Job summary

The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network within MultiCare Health System is a key support role providing frontline receptionist and communications duties in a pediatric care setting. You will help coordinate patient flow, relay critical information, and assist with clinical team communication to ensure efficient care delivery.

Ideal candidates will have completion of a Unit Secretary training or current enrollment in clinical education, plus at least

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Unit Secretary vocational training course or enrollment in clinical education program.
• One year of patient care experience or one year of equivalent clerical experience in a medical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• You will perform receptionist and communications duties
• Support care delivery and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups
• Regularly utilize your independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and/or RN for optimal care delivery and patient services
