Job summary

Community Bridges is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). The HUC is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team that provides administrative and clerical support to direct care staff. The HUC is also responsible for providing exceptional customer service for all visitors and callers to the facility.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of hospital HUC experience or EMT/CNA, and an AZ driver’s license. EMT or CNA certifications are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Health Unit Coordinator in a hospital setting, an EMT or a CNA.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current AZ Driver’s License
• Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) is preferred but not required for this position.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification (current and valid within the State of Arizona) is preferred but not required of this position.
