MultiCare Health System's Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC). This role places you at the focal point of patient communications, performing receptionist duties and supporting care delivery to patients and families.

You will develop patient-care and monitoring skills, collaborate with Clinical Director and RN, and contribute to high-quality service in a 0.9 FTE, dayshift schedule with 12-hour shifts at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma.

Competenze

• Completion of an approved Unit Secretary vocational training course or currently enrolled in clinical education program OR previous patient care experience of one (1) year or equivalent clerical experience of one (1) year in a medical setting

Mansioni

• You will perform receptionist and communications duties
• Support care delivery and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups
• You will regularly utilize your independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and/or RN for optimal care delivery and patient services
