Job summary

University of Washington Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital seek a full-time pediatric orthopaedic surgeon specializing in pediatric hand surgery. The appointment is at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank, under a non-tenure track (WOT).

The candidate will develop a pediatric hand/upper-extremity practice, contribute to education of residents and fellows, and pursue research.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board certification in orthopaedic surgery.
• Fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedics with hand specialization required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a clinical program for pediatric hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Provide general pediatric orthopaedic call at Seattle Children's Hospital.
• Engage in resident, fellow and medical student teaching and education.
• Lead and participate in research and academic activities within the division.
