Job summary

The University of Washington seeks a full-time pediatric orthopaedic hand surgeon to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine in Seattle Children’s Hospital. The appointment is at Assistant, Associate, or Professor (WOT) with duties spanning clinical care, education, and research.

Responsibilities include building a busy clinical practice, teaching residents and fellows, and developing research programs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in orthopaedic surgery required.
• Fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics with additional hand training (or hand fellowship with pediatric hand emphasis) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a pediatric hand surgery practice within Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and SCH.
• Engage in resident and fellow education and medical student teaching.
• Develop a robust program in clinical, education methodologies or basic science research.

Education

MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent

Board certified in orthopaedic surgery
