You will triage calls, assist in procedures, and coordinate tests and referrals. Requires a nursing degree (Associates, Diploma, or BSN) with 1–2 years in healthcare, Michigan RN license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Diploma, or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred for the role.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ healthcare experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the State of Michigan; BLS competency required.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Clear communication with patients, families, providers and staff; maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with computer systems and chart review.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care under physician direction.
• Record vital signs and initial patient assessment; collect history.
• Post information to patient charts and coordinate education on meds, tests, and referrals.
• Triage patient calls for urgency and appointment needs.
• Assist in procedures and examinations; support physicians.
• Schedule tests and prepare patients for procedures; manage referrals.
• Maintain patient records and ensure chart completeness.
• Contribute to performance improvement and quality monitoring.
