Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• 6-12 months experience in healthcare preferred.
• Licensed RN in good standing with the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, confidential handling of information.

Responsibilities

• Records vital signs and performs initial patient assessments.
• Processes and posts information to patient charts and educates patients and families.
• Triage calls and determine urgency, scheduling or advising on appointments.
• Prepares patients for exams and documents results accurately in the medical record.
• Assists provider with procedures and maintains chart standards.
