Job summary

Bronson Pediatrics – Stadium Dr. in Kalamazoo is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (32 hours per week) to support pediatric patient care. You will perform general nursing duties, take histories, assess patients, educate families, and coordinate tests and referrals under physician direction.

The role requires an RN license in Michigan, BLS certification, and strong communication skills. Prior healthcare experience and computer proficiency are valued in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• 6-12 months experience in healthcare preferred.
• Licensed RN in good standing with the State of Michigan required.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving and prioritization skills; ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, doctors and staff; maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Good computer skills and ability to read, interpret and analyze data from computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing functions under provider direction.
• Record vital signs, assess patients, obtain history and support care providers.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatment, and referrals.
• Triage calls and manage appointment needs; assist in procedures and examinations.
• Prepare patients for exams, document results, and coordinate tests and referrals.
• Maintain patient records and ensure complete charting for visits.
