Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Front Office Specialist (EG) for the New Braunfels clinic. This fast-paced, patient-centered role involves check-in, insurance verification, payments, and clear communication with families in a busy urgent care environment.

The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, enjoys working with children, holds a valid BLS certification, and can pass a background check. Opportunities to travel to other clinics may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoys working with children and families.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be the calm, welcoming presence families meet first.
• Manage check-in, insurance verification, and payments with accuracy.
• Explain wait times and next steps clearly and respectfully.
• Juggle phones, walk-ins, and systems during busy shifts.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and protect patient privacy.
• Work closely with clinical teams to keep patient flow moving.
