Children’s Dental FunZone in West Covina, CA is hiring a Front Office Receptionist to set the tone for the patient experience by warmly welcoming families and managing daily front desk operations. This full-time role offers a pediatric-focused, growth-oriented environment with a focus on exceptional customer service and HIPAA compliance.

The position includes scheduling, patient intake, insurance communication, payments, and general office duties.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• An upbeat personality is a must.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend is a plus.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be able to work two Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly, professional manner.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed.
• Assist patients with information forms while HIPAA compliant.
• Prepare patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
• Update patient records and document treatments and procedures.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and provide telephonic reminders.
• Communicate with medical insurance providers.
• Verify payment methods and collect payments as needed.
• Perform general office duties (phones, filing, photocopying, faxing).
