Bluebird Kids Health seeks a skilled Medical Receptionist to warmly greet patients and families, manage check-in/check-out, and coordinate patient flow. You will promote the patient portal, verify forms, and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information.

Strong EMR skills and empathy for children are essential. Ideal candidates have pediatric front office experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pediatric front office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient EMR skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phones, and schedule appointments.
• Check patients in/out and manage patient flow.
• Promote patient portal usage.
• Verify forms and ensure documentation is complete.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information.
• Scan insurance cards and licenses as needed.
• Schedule appointments within standards and document appropriately.
• Complete insurance verification up to 3 days prior to visits.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and past due balances.
• Maintain front desk organization and cleanliness.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
