Bluebird Kids Health is seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist with a patient- and family-first mindset. You will greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and help ensure a welcoming, efficient front desk experience for children and their families.

The ideal candidate has pediatric front office experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong communication skills. This role requires HIPAA compliance, attention to detail, and a collaborative team approach in a compassionate pediatric

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pediatric front office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient with computers and EMR systems.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills; task-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, empathetic, patient, kind.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors and schedule appointments.
• Check in/out patients and manage flow.
• Promotes the use of the patient portal to families.
• Verifies forms using online registration and ensures documentation.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information at encounters.
• Scan insurance cards and driver’s licenses.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized reception area.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned.
