Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is hiring a Medical Receptionist for the Mary Bridge Pediatrics clinic in Tacoma. You will be the first in-person contact for patients, greeting families, answering phones, scheduling, registering and guiding them through procedures.

This intermediate role requires excellent customer service, accuracy in clerical tasks, and basic knowledge of medical office operations.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting
• Customer service experience
• Degree or relevant certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families; answer phones and direct calls.
• Assist patients and families with scheduling, registration and basic questions.
• Handle charge entry, payment posting and batch balancing; cash reconciliation.
• Operate basic office equipment and support clinical staff as needed
