Job summary

PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY CONSULTANTS OF SOUTH TEXAS in Live Oak is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and clinical skills, and at least one year of experience as a medical assistant, preferably with pediatric experience.

This part-time role involves front desk duties, maintaining exam room cleanliness, taking vital signs, and assisting physicians. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic medical records is required.

The position offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday with the opportunity for bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• One year experience minimum as a medical assistant, pediatric experience preferred.
• Highly proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Performs front desk duties like scheduling appointments and confirming them.
• Maintains cleanliness and necessary supplies in exam rooms.
• Assesses patient's general condition and takes vital signs.
• Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination.
• Records tests and examination results in patient's chart.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
