Job summary

Pediatrica Health Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative tasks in a pediatric primary care setting. The role involves patient flow management, assisting clinicians, and accurate charting in the EMR system.

The ideal candidate will have a background in family medicine or pediatrics, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with ECW EMR is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, medical assisting diploma from an accredited program, or relevant coursework.
• Experience in a family practice, internal medicine, or urgent care setting preferred; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and clerical tasks.
• Manage patient flow, scheduling, and intake procedures.
• Perform basic clinical duties: injections, vitals, specimen collection, EKGs, PFTs.
• Maintain patient charts and EMR documentation.
• Answer phones, coordinate with staff, and handle payments/insurance verification.
