• Initial and ongoing patient data collection and vital signs.
• Administer vaccines and meds under physician delegation.
• Experience with insurance authorizations and registrations.

Responsibilities

• ALL MEDICAL ACTS PERFORMED BY A MEDICAL ASSISTANT ARE PURSUANT TO DELEGATION BY AND UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A PHYSICIAN. THE DELEGATING PHYSICIAN REMAINS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MEDICAL ACTS OF THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT PERFORMING THOSE ACTS.
• Escort patients to treatments, exams, and procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments and procedures by gathering patient data and vital signs.
