PM Pediatrics is seeking a Front Desk Associate to welcome families and manage front-desk operations at two NY locations (Bellerose and Forest Hills). The role requires multitasking, organization, and excellent customer service, with adherence to HIPAA and privacy standards.

The position supports patient flow, registration, and documentation while collaborating with medical staff to deliver a first-class experience for families, including occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to calculate simple figures (receipts, cash drawers, change).
• Superior situational awareness and Urgent situation response.
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and privacy rules.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets families professionally in person and by phone.
• Registers patients and maintains accurate accounts with demographics and insurance data.
• Manages patient documents and HIPAA-compliant records.
• Supports patient care quality initiatives as directed.
• Coordinates escalations and urgent issues for timely resolutions.
• Maintains coordination with site leadership on operations.
