Job summary

University Physicians' Association is seeking a Pediatric Patient Service Representative for GI for Kids at the Morristown Location. This front-desk role supports patient registration, scheduling, and clerical tasks in a pediatric GI setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, detail orientation, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic, assisting the CMA and physicians as needed.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of medical office experience preferred.
• Must have strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy front-office setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner.
• Ensure completion of forms for EHR and billing.
• Maintain patient demographics and insurance information; verify eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Ensure good patient flow by timely processing of patients at the front desk.
• Answer inquiries regarding registration or billing.
• Refer medical questions to the medical assistant or physician.
• Schedule patients with the appropriate physician.
• Document scanning into the EHR.
• Review medical records for urgent requests.
• Support the clinic under CMA direction, including rooming patients and gathering data.
• Provide patient education as instructed.
• Triage inbound clinical care calls per protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
