Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of Nursing experience.
• Completion of a Forensic Interviewer Certification within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making and compassionate communication.
• Continuously evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes.
• Conduct forensic interviews with alleged victims or witnesses of abuse, maintaining neutrality.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, child protective services, medical professionals, and social workers.
• Participate in team meetings and training on trauma-informed care and legal protocols.
