Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• One year of Nursing experience
• Completion of a Forensic Interviewer Certification, or the ability and willingness to successfully complete forensic interview training within the first six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• Conduct forensic interviews with alleged victims or witnesses of abuse, neglect, or other crimes, maintaining neutrality and objectivity throughout the process
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement, child protective services, medical professionals, and social workers, to coordinate investigations and services
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions, staying updated on best practices, trauma-informed care, and legal protocols
