St. David’s HealthCare is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) in Pediatrics to provide expert care for infants, children and adolescents, addressing concerns and family education.

The role includes neonatal stabilization, care planning, ongoing assessments and collaboration with NPs and neonatologists, with responsibilities across deliveries, medications, and patient transportation support.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN bedside experience in Pediatric settings or NICU/PED units.

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and perform neonatal stabilization and admission assessments.
• Develop and revise plans of care including discharge planning.
• Perform ongoing infant assessments and communicate changes to providers.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Assist transport teams and document transfers.
• Delegate to non-licensed staff per standards of practice.
• Provide age- and culture-appropriate education and family support.
