Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a part-time Pediatric Medical/Surgical Float RN to join the Levine Children's Hospital pediatric float team. The role involves 24 hours per week across 12-hour shifts (7p–7a) with weekend and holiday rotations, supporting general pediatric units and cross-training in specialties as needed.

Required are an active RN license, BLS, and a commitment to obtain PALS within 6 months. One year of pediatric in-patient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure quality patient experience.
