Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Float Pool aide for the 7p-7a, 36-hour weekly schedule. Under RN supervision, you will assist with daily patient care, perform vital signs, document in the EMR, and support admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED/HSED, no experience required, and BLS within 45 days. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document care in EMR.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Record vital signs and intake/output.
• Perform rounds and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care tests as directed.
• Stock nursing areas and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfer, and skin care.
• Follow infection control policies and wear appropriate PPE.
• Ensure age-appropriate patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies and documentation standards.
