Zarminali Pediatrics in Chicago seeks a Medical Assistant (Float) to support our Chicago market across Naperville, Park Ridge, West Lakeview, Portage Park and Arlington Heights. You will play a key role in delivering a consistent, high-quality patient experience across multiple clinic locations, covering clinical and operational workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• BLS certification required or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• 1+ year of outpatient Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or family practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care by completing intake, including vital signs and testing.
• Maintain efficient patient flow across exam rooms.
• Prepare patient encounters with accurate, up-to-date clinical information.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect specimens.
• Administer vaccines safely and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist providers with procedures and clinical setup.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and infection-control compliant.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Travel between clinics, adapting to different workflows.
• Cover staffing gaps during high-volume periods.
• Represent the organization positively and assist onboarding.
